2015 Strasbourg, France
From June 26 to 28, 2015, the EU Stone Festival took place at Place du Château in Strasbourg. Under the overall leadership of Norbert Stoffel, President of the European Association of Stonemasons and Sculptors (EASMS), 130 stone sculptors from 15 countries created sandstone works inspired by the message of Romanesque master builders and Rhenish mysticism.

The chief organizer responsible for the 2015 EU Stone Festival, which took place from June 26 to 28 in Strasbourg at Place du Château, was Norbert Stoffel, President of the European Association of Stonemasons and Sculptors (EASMS).
130 stone sculptors from 15 countries were tasked with conveying the “message of the Romanesque master builders and Rhenish mysticism” in raw sandstone blocks measuring 20 × 30 × 30 cm.
