2013 Lincoln, England

From 21 to 23 June 2013, the EU Stone Festival took place on the East Green in front of the cathedral workshop of Lincoln Cathedral.138 participants from 14 countries created sculptures from limestone or sandstone on the theme of “Food and Agriculture.”
At the same time, the festival “1,000 Years of Craftsmanship” was celebrated at Lincoln Castle.

In front of the cathedral workshop of Lincoln Cathedral, on the “sacred lawn of the East Green,” the EU Stone Festival 2013 took place from 21 to 23 June 2013. It was organized by Master Mason Carol Heidschuster, Workshop Manager Paul Atkin, and the cathedral workshop team.

 

138 participants from 14 different countries created works in limestone or sandstone (20 × 30 × 40 cm) on the theme of “Food and Agriculture.” In addition, a festival was held at Lincoln Castle celebrating “1,000 Years of Craftsmanship.”
