Arriving by car to Budapest

Head towards Budapest on the M1 motorway
→ Budapest – Budaörsi út - Hegyalja út
→ keep to the right and head towards Erzsébet híd (Elisabeth Bridge)
→ cross the bridge over the Danube, then keep to the right turning back towards the river, then head right towards Jászai Mari tér and Balassi Bálint út to the Parliament’s Visitor Centre.
Attention! The road down by the Danube will be closed.
Parking is only possible for short periods of no more than 3 hours in the centre at 600 HUF/hour. Parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays.

Arriving by plane

Take the 100E Airport Express bus to Astoria. From there, take the M2 metro towards Déli pályaudvar to Kossuth Lajos tér.
The 100E costs 2 200 HUF one way. Card payment accepted.

Arriving by train

Keleti pályaudvar (railway station) → M2 metro to Kossuth Lajos tér
Nyugati Pályaudvar (railway station) → tram No. 4 or 6 to Jászai Mari tér. Walk 850 metres (10 minutes) to the Visitor Centre of the Parliament
Déli pályaudvar (railway station) → M2 metro to Kossuth Lajos tér.
